Davis Bean is a Partner at The Florida Group and Chairs the firm’s State and Federal Practices. In these roles, Davis utilizes his strong skills and wealth of experience in government affairs and policy development to assist TFG clients with securing appropriations and successfully influencing state and federal policies. He also assists with the development and implementation of successful business and growth strategies for TFG and its clients, playing an instrumental role in the firm’s continued success and growth in Florida and beyond.

Prior to joining TFG, Davis began his career Polk County, where he worked as Campaign Manager for Florida Senator Kelli Stargel. He then served for several years as the top aide to State Representative Cord Byrd. Davis’ experience working inside state government provides him with unique insight into the lawmaking and budget-crafting processes, which he utilizes to develop successful strategies and ensure winning results for TFG clients.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Management from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, Davis was tapped into Florida Blue Key, the oldest and most prestigious leadership honorary in the State of Florida. Prior to graduating, Davis was also inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame for outstanding commitment to improving the school.

Davis currently serves on the Nassau County Economic Development Board as well as the Advisory Board for YMCA Camp Immokalee. He is also a graduate of Leadership Nassau, and was recently named a “Rising Star” in Florida politics by Influence Magazine.

Davis and his family are lifelong residents of Fernandina Beach in Nassau County.
